6 or 7 star dilemma

I’m at a progression point in the game where 6 stars still play a large role and obtaining rank up materials is still pretty difficult and takes time. My dilemma is do I still rank up 6 stars who are rank 4 (ascended) to rank 5 and then risk they’re released as a 7 star soon. Will champions like: red mags, kingpin, abs man, galan and nimrod ever be released as 7 star? Is there a definitive list anywhere?

    There still is. I wouldn't spend the resources on a new 6* pull but if you already have them as R4 and you are using them consistently, then it could be worth it. For me, I just recently got Hulk as a 6* and don't have the 7*. So I won't rank up him, I'll wait. I do have a R4 Wong, Chavez, Purgatory, SIM, Spider Ham, and a few others that I will rank up because I won't get the 7* until I do (ha ha). You will always waste resources and regret it. Just try to make the regret less so for the time being.

    Think like are these going to be release within 1 year. If not , then I think you should rank up.
    But before that, do you really need these champion now ? I would suggest rank champion when you need them.

    Even if the 7 version exists, are you guaranteed to get them in the future? Only people who spend thousands of dollars get every 7 star in the game; the rest of us are limited to RNG.

    Also, if the 7 version doesn't exist currently, it doesn't mean it won't later. If you read some old threads you'll see people say rank up X over Y because X isn't a 7 yet. Well, X is a 7 now, so it didn't matter anyway.

    As far as wasting resources that can be used on 7s, we as Valiants get a pretty steady supply of T6CC. The scare resources, T4A and now T7B, can't be used on 6s anyway.

    Basically, I would just do what makes you enjoy the game today. If the question is between ranking up a 6 and 7 now, then ranking up the 7 is usually the correct answer. But if it's between ranking up a 6 now and not ranking them up because of possible things that may happen in the future but aren't certain to happen, then rank up the 6. This game isn't a 401k account.

    I'd only 6r5 Ascend champs like Herc, Doom, kingping, Hulkling, Torch, RedMags, Kitty and few others that you can tell at this point of game.

    The talk of, "but uhh you can't sig200 uhh"
    Which is false, Kebem have started to give 7* sigs a lot.

    Don't get trapped wasting resources on 6* as every passing unit/money deal 7r4 will come closer and closer and once general public gets 7r4,

    It's chop chop pack pack for 6* 🐸
