Did Kabam reduce the number of sand particles?

I noticed that the number of sand particles for Dust has been reduced significantly visually

The phone doesn't heat up as much as when 60 FPS was just introduced and the whole screen was just sand particles flying around

    Yes I noticed it's visually different
    I think there’s definitely been a small change, I mean they said they would do something to reduce the problems with lag when fighting dust or sandman, most simple solution would be to reduce the entities (sand particles), so logic says that’s what they did, although unless they tell us there’s going to be very little way to definitely tell.

    The thing is I haven't heard of any official statement from Kabam to confirm this so I'm wondering if it's just me or has others noticed something different too

    it's definetly better now when she's not in the sandstorm mode. but still mostly terrible in the sandstorm slightly better
