  Tech over mutant. Now this may sound odd, but really think about it. In the comics, even though the Sentinels are the mutants oppressors, the mutants ALWAYS come out on top

  Plot armour tbh, I consider days of future past movie sentinels peak, the design, their idea it was so good.
  
  But lore aside I think its just game mechanics, like science over mystic makes no sense either but it has to be something ig?

  honestly mutant over skill is the only one that makes sense.
  Even cosmic over tech has some arguments against it (most versions of iron man, even mcu version, have beaten muchhh stronger cosmic threats, using just his tech)

  Mutant over skill - superhuman defeat normal humans
  Skill over science - practice, skill and experience defeats scientific breakthroughs
  Science over mystic - obviously, proven science research overcomes magical elements backed by myths.
  Mystic over cosmic - magic controls and manipulate other worldy creatures.
  Cosmic over tech - Other world beings are advanced than earth's technology
  Tech over mutant - advanced tech bypasses mutants superhuman powers.
  
  For me skill over science makes the least sense.
