Need a suggestion from MCOC community, Whose the best overall power control champ and whose the best in each class? Trying to grind it out but my grinding came to a halt damn that Hyperion and his power gain.

    When facing Hyperion without a power control champ you have to bait his sp1-sp2 by making a 3 hits combo and dashing back. You will be safe most of the time.

    Straight up power control, Magik is best. Can chain sp2 over and over.

    I like OG Vision and Dorm who can affect power immediately.

Dormammu is very good and probably even with magik in terms of power control but offensively magik is generally a better offensive champion and in the current game meta dormammu is a better defender

    Add Doc Oc to the list, especially against champs that auto-gain power. Against Hype, you can play defense, let him gain power, and he'll lock himself...if you play smart, you can eventually permanently lock his power (renew a power lock with sp3 for 15 seconds, refresh with sp1). He works great against OG Vision, Thor Ragnarok, and Mordo too.

    Psylocke definitely can deal with passive power gain, I use her for that all the time against people like mordo, Hyperion etc. Just hit them with a sp1 at the right time and you have it back instantly. Or power lock them with sp2, consume a psi charge and immediately have a sp1 ready again. She has no issues with that at all. Also used her for the uncollected Hyperion in this months EQ, very easy fight with her.

    Best for Hyperion - Scarlet Witch or Doctor Strange (awakened). They both nullify his power gain buff fairly quick. SW also power steals and power locks when awakened. Plus there is the class advantage, which helps. The nullifying is the largest advantage though.

    Best Mystic - Magik or Dormammu. Dormammu has a natural power drain with his normal attacks and a power drain/lock SP2. Magik also has a power lock with her SP2 and is long enough to keep it permanent.

    Best Skill - Hawkeye. Honorable mention to GP and WS. Hawkeye has the most reliable since his SP1 does a significant power drain and applies bleed. GP has enervate, which prevents them from gaining power when struck. It’s also permanent as long as you can keep a bleed stack going to have it reapplied. WS has a random power drain. Not always reliable, but does happen often enough.

    Best Tech - Vision. Honorable mention to Doc Oct and Stark Spidey - Vision (OG and AoU) has power drain with all his specials. His SP2 drains the opponent of all power. AoU Vision (awakened) will also do power steal, which can keep your specials near-permanent. So constant power steals and drains. Doc oct has a power lock and Stark can power drain every 30 seconds with his heavy.

    Best Mutant - Psylocke. Power drain SP1, Power lock SP2 and Power Lock Sp3. Also, her SP1 can prevent all power gain if you bring the AIs power bar to 0 with it. Only stops applying if you get hit.

    Best Science - Unsure here. Quake possibly because you don’t have to hit the opponent if you don’t need (heavy charges). Plus she has concussion, which can negate power gain buffs from activating during it.

    Best Cosmic - None really. Medusa can power lock robots when they are Armor shattered. That’s really it though from what I can recall.

    Just some of my personal favorites here.
