Redesign for Quake and Magick

I get why these champs have not been released as is in higher tiers, their current power lock/infinite evade is game-breaking. I think enough time has passed where they aren't meta, and redesigning their kits is acceptable to release the characters as 6 and 7 stars. I hope others agree both of these should get reworked and let them be re-released back into the game. Does the community agree with reworking these guys?

I really don't think Magik needs any redesign, with the champs that are released for the past couple of years, she will be just another god tier mystic. Quake probably yes, she ll be insane as a 7 star.

And, actually, even Hercules can be a good but not broken by today's standards champion, and that standard is the Serpent.

Outrageous take, herc is still absolutely broken. Way more than serpent or any other 6* available champ.

Bg has skewed champ perception beyond repair and it's honestly crazy.

It's better to get new versions of these two champs with updated kit at this point.

    While I enjoyed quake, I don't want to hold-heavy-tap for 10 minutes.
While I enjoyed magik, I don't want to face her on BG defense. She is way too broken on defense for today's standards.

I would highly appreciate, especially Magik, redesigns to put them back into the contest.

    My girl needs some love!

I’d really like to see more classic/throwback takes on the character, especially because these stories were very Illyana centered and were really character driven and coming of age.

I LOVE early Magik. I love the Darkchyld. I love Magik and Storm. I love it all.

Also love Kyle & Yost’s arc that brings her back and Bendis’ All New that made her a fan favorite.

This game deserves a highly popular much used version of her.

I think the version that’s there reflects the version the character was when she came out in the game which was that Bendis period when they split the X-Men into Team Wolverine and Team Cyclops because that’s the version of Cyclops and Magneto that was also released (I think red Magneto was released that year as well). I didn’t love how Cyclops was handled in that time period but I’ll check out the Kyle/Yost about Magik on your recommendation.

Honestly, what brought me to the game are the icons. The game got me into characters like Hulkling, and Dust (in the game at least). They certainly not why I decided to play the game. Onslaught alone would probably kept me away from the game (but I still rank him up), what a stupid late 90s character.

Bring the classic iconic versions of the Icons to the game. Classic CapA with the wingtips, the Red and Gold Iron Man that endured for more than two decades. The classic Kirby design of Thor. Classic Nick Fury. The original Spider-Woman. A version of Jean Grey that doesn’t suck at gameplay (how about the green skirt), Wolverine’s brown costume with the long fins on the mask and boots. The Cyclops design that endured from the Neal Adams era, through the Byrne and Smith runs, and up until X-Factor started.
