I’m thinking about attempting the 10 year carina challenge. I don’t have wong, or many other good ranked up options. Who I do have is an awakened R2 sentry and a science 2-3 gem. Should I give the sentry the gem and make a run of it?

    I can’t bet on a champ I may or may not get. For all I know it could be a year plus before I get wong. I have to bet on the champs I have not if I will or won’t get another.

    I know what patience is, thanks pal. No where am I complaining about the champ I’m using, so don’t see how that’s relevant either.

    From what I’ve seen on YT, Sentry is an option for many but not all of the fights.

    Who else do you have with the 10 year tag? Which path are you thinking?

    I’ve seen a couple vids of people taking Titania to apoc. I also have spider-ham (R3), sentinel(R3) and Wiccan(R2). I’ve already done the mutants challenge and turned that into a completion run.

    Sentry and Chee’ilth together cover a lot of ground, you could likely get it done with them.

    I’d also note that I did my run with a 6* Wong and had no issues. Either way, I would say it’s worth going in with what you have rather than waiting.

    You know what, your run inspired me, and seeing as I already have photon, pig, and silk at R3, I can afford a semi-risky rank up, especially using a gem. And who knows, maybe I’ll turn into a full on sentry believer like you and Nagase 😂😂

    If you use Sentry for whole Necro path,
    It's over for you already.

    Using r3 gem on him on top of everything is double over.

    I mean if you really wanted to do it without Wong and feel you have crazy NAGASE skills for Sentry I don't see why not. I did it with R2 Wong, R2 Cheeilth, R2 QS, R2 Vox and R1 Wiccan and still died a lot, specially against Air Walker.

    But if you wanna try it then I don't think you're crazy, just a little impatient

    I would had done it with a 6 star wong because i wouldn’t trust my self with a sentry it possible so no ham in trying.

    I am not encouraging you to r3 Sentry because I won't do it, but maybe you should check out Daddylonglegs's channel "he is a kabam employee". He did use him for this challenge.
