Can somebody explain these light eidol things?

First. I saw its only for weekly bundles. BUT if you purchased the weekly bundle early @kabam says sucks to be you you missed out on the bonus thanks for the money. So it goes with these things every single time (zero foresight). So dont buy things until last minute....heard. But how many of these things are we gunna need? Is the weekly package the only way to get them? Do you need to buy all of em (valiant/thronebreaker etc etc) I watched the stream and multiple streamers coverage of said stream and cannot find the specific info on it

    U need 12 to get him but that is all free if u can place first in arena and each season bg u place high enough
