I was fortunate enough to have a Skill and generic. I used my Skill AG, reasoning that I should only use a generic on that specially unique or hard to awaken champ (examples might include Sinister, Maestro) who could benefit a good deal from awakening.
That might be Okoye for you—I don’t know, and I do think her shock DoT is very useful. That’s probably not as helpful as you’d like, but that is my thinking.
I pulled her yesterday from a nexus. First impression is that she’s incredible and easily worthy of a class gem. If I had a skill she’d have been awakened after the first two or three test fights. Still thinking about whether I want to use a generic on her, and waiting to see what the Ordeal rewards are going to be.
(My only issue with Okoye is that my ten years of muscle memory for inputting a MLLLM combo do not seem to fit with her double-hit light attacks. Something for me to practice, I suppose.)

There is supposed to be awakening gem shards in the Ordeal, forgot about that.

Yeah, I've thrown so many SP2s into the block because I don't have the timing down for her combos.
I wish we had a skill relic that enhanced bleeds/shocks. Would be perfect for cheelith, sable, fury, and okoye
Winter Soldier works well for anyone inflicting Shock damage: just select the Energy Resistance Down Rune; plus there's Energy Vulnerability on the Striker as well.

Gotcha. I thought he was only colds and incinerate
Well. Since the post exists. R4 okoye? Or r4 xbones sig 200? Or wait.
Crossbones duh more utility and higher potential damage depending on if you can play her. I guess Okoye is easier to use but keep in mind she could get rebalanced as well while crossbones can’t

But if you can't wait, I think it's okoye to use a generic on her...
