Should I care to go for dark plumes with a 6* Phoenix already?

I'm Cavalier and already got a 6* Phoenix a few months ago (with not really any chance of a 7* due to account ranking I'd assume) so is there any point in going for the plumes or would it be a waste of resources spent on them?

    With being cav you don't have any chance of collecting 75 plumes, as it requires hitting gc 2 times and completing valiant eq, I don't know if they will put something in store for less plumes.
