Light essence home stretch update

Just wanting to confirm if by this time with the end of May Raids, the only way to get free to play Light Essence, is to finish high in Gladiator Circuit (I already got the 1 from getting to GC), or finish 1st in Featured Arenas?

I know you can buy them from the weekly deal, or the straight up single Light Essence deal, just want to make sure I've exhausted all free options before considering buying any.

    Only to celestial. Most players need to spend to get him.

    7* Dark Phoenix - Paywall or grind arena for 36,900 units
    7* Phoenix dupe - Paywall

    I just settled for 6* Dark Phoenix and Lumatrix
