Guys I think 10k is a very big number, even if 4-5 % of bans are false positives (entirely positive) it's still 500 accounts. A ban of this scale likely have few legit guys getting banned or warned.

this is going to have a huge ripple effect i agree especially because of the way kabam handled this. The 7 day ban doesn't hurt as much as being labelled as a cheater when you haven't even done anything of that sort.

I have a very good Internet connection with over 300mbs of upload/Download and will still be constantly hit with lag or the red wifi bar unless I use to the booster,which I downloaded from Playstore just like I did mcoc back since 2016. My guess is that the scale of the modding problem is much worse than we would have guessed. Yeah, 10K accounts seems like a big number but it might just mean that cheating is even worse than the recent BGs season would make it seem.
One commonality to all the posts from banned bros — “I don’t use any third party stuff” but they never say a word about where they downloaded the game in the first place. And that’s the real issue that Kabam is chasing, right?
Well I am a UK player with many accounts 1 valiant the rest TB, one of my TB accounts is suspended for 7 days due to this error on kabams part. I can 100% confirm all my accounts were downloaded in the play store.

The response from the ticket I sent yesterday instructs me to uninstall and re-download from what ever is legit, which in my case is Google play store...the same store I've been downloading it from for 9 years

There was a heck of alot of mercs, my old ally leader posted a screenshot of a Merc who was running more than 10 accounts in GC getting them in to celestial or as close to, last season.. maybe the bans are mercs too, and those who allowed that, and they're using the old excuse "I have a VPN" no you had someone use your account

I also was thinking the same thing. Popcorn Totem and all the active users whom we know play the game regularly and with efforts seem to be unscathed. All of them. I also didn't get banned.

FYI, two people I consider 'regulars (I can't spell their name without looking it up, but it's Prixxx and sceptorxxx) have been banned so I do say there Might be more to this. @Razorlord7
