Is there any point to these Battlerealm pings?

I got a few of them now, but I have no idea what they're for or what they do. Why am I collecting them? Will they payoff? And why put an AQ objective during Raid month? Not even enough fights in Raids to achieve the objective, especially considering we received it midway through the current raid.

They unlock the objectives? But completing the objectives is what unlocks the Ping? I'm still confused.

I don't think they ever told us what they are for. But they seem to have a code associated with them.

It's only a best guest at this point since we haven't received any other info. I'll test it this week and hold onto one of the objectives until Wednesday and see if I don't get them until I claim the next ping. But in week one I know I didn't have any objectives until I got the number 1 ping, and the one we claimed after completing the objectives last week earned us the number 2. Not sure about this week as I've only done one objective. But if that is all that it is...well it fits the silly and pointless theme that has plagued the game recently.

I have completed 3 of the 4 objectives, saving only the AQ objective (because I'm in the middle of a Raid as are most i assume) and I'm coincidentally 1 point away from the next Ping. So I think by completing objectives we receive the pings (also that's what the future foundation description says) but no clue what they are for or when and how to use them?

I think it’s one of those things where we have to figure out some code — a sequence of opening the pings or whatever.

The prevailing theory was that they were clues to running a specific path or defeating a specific enemy.

Ping 1 "BI" = Back Issue
Ping 2 "BV" = Blood and Venom

But I don't have the 3rd ping yet because I also haven't completed the AQ fights objective, so I can't see what it says to confirm if this is correct (if it was correct then presumably the next ping would allude to what Chapter/Quest)

Yeah there’s going to be a final objective after/during week 4 and the full set of pings points to the target. Not sure if they announced what the reward is though.

UB is also possible for the 2nd quest in the Meta Morphosis section. But I think it will be MH and then SS and you fight the Silver Surfer in that quest since it should be Fantastic Four related

Oh wait, it did work! Once you recieve all pings and get the mail, make sure to restart the game once to get the objective and then defeat the boss even in classic difficulty

I just beat the Storm boss in 2.2 in variant difficulty twice and didn’t get the objective rewards. Does it have to be classic difficulty? Or a specific path or champs to use?

Wow. You guys are detectives. I would never have figured it out. So to get a 5th Ping, we have to defeat storm in this 2.2 Variant difficulty or what?
The 4th Ping is for EQ?
