Whatever happened to fixing the forums?

@KabamPinwheel are you still doing it or did Kabam give up on this? There are just so many issues and it's been months at this point. I just typed a whole long message and when I sent it, it deleted it and only sent the first letter.

Don't think they will be able to fix it. Their future plan is to move to the discord when they requested everyone to connect the account to discord. Looks like they gave up idea to fix the forums.

I'm afraid you may be right. But Discord sucks though. Discussions are all over the place and moderators practice the art of dictatorship like it's nothing.

That's because discord is a public chat. Discord is way better than the forums no contest. Even Kabam agrees based on how much more they interact there.

Theres been data breaches and the mcoc server has a mandatory requirement of linking your phone number to be able to talk (even if you linked your game account)

You can always look at it with a wayback machine. They looked better, but more importantly, they were usable and not riddled with inconveniences and bugs like the game itself.

Newsflash buddy, literally every other social media platform has you verify your phone number for security reasons, it's really not that serious. Facebook also has had multiple data breaches as well, I'm sure you still use that though.

False "buddy". You have no idea what youre talking about. I dont use my number on any app i have currently installed. You can use your email address as well , and a lot use a burner.

And even for stuff that may strictly require Phone number, you can use a burner too. Not only does the MCoC Discord server require a Phone Number on top of your email, discord itself inhibits the use of VOIP numbers, meaning if you don't use your real number, youre SOL and cant talk in their server.

It's like they don't want to hear player feedback or something 🤔. On the Discord they can put on slow mode and time out everyone who has a comment on Kabam's bad decisions. On a forum like this, whole threads of people asking for accountability keep popping up.
