Opened a 4* Crystal and duped my King Groot. Is he any good on AW defense, considering he has a ton of HP? Worth taking to at least r4?

    I did with no regrets and use him on AW defense regularly

    I like him immensely. He hits soft, but that’s not the point. He’s a tanky regen machine with decent damage output if you get his furies right. Not to mention a solid option on Villainy/Tyranny lanes and nodes.

    awakened 4/55 5 star King Groot does pretty good on node 24 in Alliance War.

    I would say not good as AW defender. But good for questing.

    He’s a free regen node as AW defender.

    Once he has a fury buff on, i bait his SP1 and let it hit me. That puts a permanent armor break on me causing my willpower to give me permanent regen. I’ve regen champs back to full health against him

    This. I've also done this against him on 5.3.6.
