The "usual" bgs event was rolled into the victory track months ago. This is extra on top of the normal, for a cost.

Yeah, people are saying to ignore the deal now but in the future, Kabam can definitely start paywalling content. Remember the Grandmaster Keys? Yeah, imagine if they start charging you $10 per extra path you want to explore. Or what about Everest content? Sorry buddy that will cost you a key, go buy one for $20 in the Mcoc shop!!!!!

Right, but you can still access SQ for free like usual. All they have done there is offer people some extra rewards for a fee which is something they've been doing forever anyway.

If you were on from the start of BGs drop- about 10 minutes the glad cert was locked. Saying you needed the pass. So maybe don't jump to conclusions 🙄. It was one of kabams famous "bugs"

Bruh you don't understand the depth of this
Create a crappy spending event to set a low standard..then incrementally improve rewards with every iteration.
And this first edition right now is just data to see how desparate people are for puny extra rewards..they will use this for the baseline.
The rewards will keep increasing until a sweet spot is reached with rewards and buyers considering this.
We are the guinea pigs, always have been. Also I think they already expected the backlash but they just smiling right now cos its all part of the plan.

Well I'm a dummy and I saw the ticket thing come up and I just bought it. Then I looked into it and it was very underwhelming. I'm a returning player, so this is probably a stupid question for here. But I assumed that the ticket got me to diamond tier. I did finish in gladiator circut last season, so it could have been that. If it was the ticket it was worth it. If not. I'm an idiot for buying that sight unseen. 🤡
