Stellar Forged Star Lord could have been a more bold Stellar started

20 Cruelty on paper sounds a lot but he ramps soo fast in the second fight you are already up,damage ain't as big but is consistent

feel like if was around 100-200 Cruelty he would be much better received since it would be a massive damage trashold to reach,,as extra ultility i would have change the Incinarate to cold snap and gave him a indefinite undermine passive
at the S3

And let's not forget that in the end you will need the full synergy team,that could help him for a period like did with the others and they will simply get back to the bench, the Deathless only 2 are Good/Viable beyond personal choice and i don't expect the stellar forged to be different

(Also Kabam could have been more sincere with his marketing,but they need us to test stuff post release anyways)

I think the main problem is that he is all damage, with little utility. No way to counter evade, miss, autoblock, purify debuffs, etc

The irony is, lorewise he's supposed to be a "upgraded" Starlord with Eidol influence, but he has less utility than his other self.

Even less damage than the previous one,as a 7* R3

They should have went much further with his Cruelty,a purify per crit would have been great already for science champions who do that without doing contact with you

My problem with him is that he’s a champion that’s completely focused on damage, and yet his damage isn’t that crazy.

I’m not asking for him to be super meta broken insane beyond-god-tier “STELLAR STAR-LORD: MCOC’s Newest SKILL GOD (Rank 4 Gameplay),” but as far as it stands I see literally no reason to use him ever. I wish they gave him SOME form of utility. It doesn’t even have to be much, just changing the Incinerate to a Coldsnap like you mentioned would be enough for me. He doesn’t even have to be the best option for any given fight, I just want to be able to bring him for a fight or two that isn’t just completely vanilla in terms of utility that it requires.

Unless he gets a synergy with Stellar Doom that saves him, he’ll probably just continue to collect dust in my roster.

Buff his vulnerability debuff to 6k and he will be really good. Buff his vulnerability to 10k and he's top 5 damage dealer. Of course kabam won't do either though.

lays a trap (like in the movies) - when opponent steps on it,1 of rooted, sleep, stun, exonerated will trigger

should have a somewhat similar animation to fury's

gain 60 sec combo shield and fury

while increasing opponent physical and energy vulnerability

He's a trade off of og star lord just like deathless king groot was. Lower damage ceiling but 100 times easier to maintain and with a cross fight ramp up. Again, we need to wait until the rest of the stellar forged are out before we can say how he should've been

Honestly they should have let him keep his abilities from his tech element gun with his awakening. Would solve the utility & make him a little stronger.

No we realy don't, 100 Cruelty and either a purify or Cold Snap could have done the work already for his base, synergy they could add a fury with potency based on his combo or any other of the 2 abilities i mentioned before

100 cruelty? He'd be hitting for 100k+ mediums and 50k+ lights at that point. One combo into a special would take out any ROL champ. You even said 100-200 cruelty. Star Lord is fine as is. No one is really complaining about his damage as much as his need for utility.

There still plenty of people complaining about his damage ,not as much as ultility because one is more clear than the other

Him being able to do 100-50K basics wouldn't make him viable for competitive since it would be minimal ultility, Cull Obsidian does basicly that and his only used in 2 places and he has way more ultility, and i doubt you would be able to get all those Cruelty most of the time and simply WOULD finish the fight with 30-40

Just said exactly this to an alliance mate in a line chat. Unless he's absolutely the best option for a piece of upcoming content, he'll never go past R1. Maybe having the full squad might change that...

I took mine to r4 and awakened him immediately (yes, I know that there would be an objective for that down the road). I absolutely love his gameplay. I think the only change would be to switch the incinerate to a more potent, passive coldsnap. That way, he'd have more damage and be able to prevent evade.

We just need to accept that this is going to repeat the model of deathless. I’d expect four totally average or less than average champs that will get very little use except for special SF events. And then Doom will probably be a gangster like Thanos.

But you're ignoring that his base kit isn't supposed to be his full potential just like the deathless champions. If he was a mainline champion release you might have a point but at this stage he's not supposed to be busted on his own
