Doctor Stranges faster reaction times

I don't know if its just me but he seems like he has faster reaction times to me, like when I evade his sp1 and try to attack him he will instantly hit me instead, or just recently I finished a combo and he hit me right after I finished it, didn't even get time to block. Has anyone else noticed this or is it just me?

    I never attack DS (or a symbioid that does DS s1) after evading the s1 because I always get slapped in the chops.
    I hang back and wait for him to attack me then either parry or intercept

    Agreed, same against Mags sp1!
    You have to evade those super close or else you don't have time to come back with a hit!

    DS, Groot, and Magneto fall into this odd super fast Light Attacks category... its what makes them okay defenders. I would recommended never trying to intercept the as they will usually catch you with their really short and fast first light attack.

    All of the can be hit after sp1 if you’re close and wait until the last second to evade and immediately counter attack.

    Same with sp1 of war machine, cyclops. Once you block or Dex their sp1 and you dash towards them to strike, invariably they will land their blow before you do.
