The influence of the Grandmaster continues to twist and grow the Battlerealm, producing new and exciting features. It’s time to introduce, the 5-Star Featured Hero Arena!

Starting with the next round of Arenas on February 15th, there will be a new 5-Star Featured Hero Arena! This Arena will allow you to take newly acquired 6-Star Champions alongside your 4 and 5-Star Champions and fight for 6-Star Shards and a 5-Star Featured Hero!

This Arena will allow you to use your 4-Star, 5-Star, and 6-Star Champions to compete to be one of 150 Summoners that will take home the 5-Star Featured Champion.

Let’s Breakdown the Basics

The 5-Star Featured Hero Arena will run on the same schedule as our other Featured Hero Arenas, and will be available to all Summoners at Level 40, or over! There are no Beginner or Intermediate Brackets for this Arena.

This will be your first chance to use 6-Star Champions in Arenas, so here’s what you need to know:

- 6-Star Champions have a cooldown of 12 hours, or 20 units to refresh
- A Base 6-Star Champion will award around 3x the points of a Base 5-Star Champion

The cost to look for a match in this new Arena will be 500 Gold per matchup.

Rank Rewards!

You can earn Rank Rewards after hitting the 1 million point milestone, and earn yourself some 5-Star and 6-Star Shards!

The Top Summoner for Each Arena will also take home the Arena Champion Title, which is also still available in the 4-Star Featured Hero Arena. The Title is the exact same as the one in the 4-Star Featured Hero Arena, and will stack with those. As a reminder, these are the Titles you can earn for Placing 1st in the Arena:

WARBOUND: Earned by placing 1st in a 4-Star or 5 Star Featured Hero Arena once.
DESTROYER: Earned by placing 1st in a 4-Star or 5 Star Featured Hero Arena 3 times.
LIVING WEAPON: Earned by placing 1st in a 4-Star or 5 Star Featured Hero Arena 5 times.
SUPER SOLDIER: Earned by placing 1st in a 4-Star or 5 Star Featured Hero Arena 10 times.
GOD OF WAR : Earned by placing 1st in a 4-Star or 5 Star Featured Hero Arena 25 times.
WORLD BREAKER: Earned by placing 1st in a 4-Star or 5 Star Featured Hero Arena 50 times.

So you say this arena isn’t really about milestones and it is all about the rank rewards but there is an insane drop off in the rank rewards. Whoever finishes in 150 gets a full 5* and whoever gets 151 only gets 2k shards? It should be like 5-6k.

Well. None of my things are being answered.

So to sum it up, this is the most disappointed I have been with a new announcement.

You really miss opportunities and the chance to seize them, getting everyone excited.

150 whales will be there weekly, leaving us with crappy milestones and % rewards.

Well done Kabam, how about a solo mode for rewards that isn't solely built around making money.

Even as a grinder I believe I’m outta my league here with 150. People like verygoot has I think either 83 or 89 5*. Along with 3 6*. That’s almost 6-7 mil every 7 hours just for those. That’s not facturing in they have every 4*. New featurednwill have min cutoff 38 mil and old featured around 28 mil. This will reduce the number slightly in 4* from 18 mil maybe to 14 mil. 150 is too low. The debut should have had at least 400 if not 800.

I don't believe we could all Rank when we started the 4* Featured. At least not in the Vet Bracket. I Ranked when I was in Beginner. It takes time and consistent effort, like any other Arena.

I understand milestones aren't the main incentive to grind arenas for days but at least make the rewards relevant. Yes the point of arenas are to grind out for a specific champion but it's difficult for the majority of people who work 9-5 jobs to grind out as much as people who just pay their way to the tops. Even now with the 1% probably being around 40M points, it will just widen the gap between players even more. I think the rewards for the milestones should be updated to give more people incentive to grind out these arenas because most likely, all 10 of those PHC milestone rewards will yield 2 star champs. At least give GMC, just my 2 cents.

IMO it will just be a matter of time before they add the basic arena, but even that will have pretty high cutoffs, but at least it will be a much larger pool.
The top 150 reward I agree is ridiculous, but I really don't think the cut-off would be much lower at 400 or 600.
The 4* arena is just top 800, It would be ridiculous if the 5* arena gave out more full champs that that.
This game during its entire existence has always been the rich get richer.
I have no idea why people act so shocked when the top 0.1% get much better rewards than everyone else.
I also agree that the milestone rewards are not good.

I wonder if the 5* feature and 4* feature will be the same champ? I would assume so.
This would mean that KM will be the first 5* feature champ.

Question : Will there be 5* basic arenas in future ?
Suggestion : This arena is basically for endgame players,and they don't need premium hero crystal as milestone rewards,at least make them grandmaster crystals

I don't expect anything to change and my guess is the majority would not agree with me but I figured it was worth asking about, even if only for selfish reasons. I don't have the 5*'s and/or time to put up 15-20M for a 4* feature champ but remove 5*'s from the equation and it might be feasible. The best I've done is 8-9M in 4* basic and that took hours and hours and hours with a 12 team (36) max 3* plus 17 team (51) 3/30+ 4*'s.

While everyone complains about this arena I hope it lowers the cutoffs for 4* featured.

Then don't go for the top 150. You'll still be picking up 4000 extra 5* shards a week if you hit the 1-10%, which shouldn't be that hard for a regular grinder. Maybe once in a while if you got a lot of free time, shoot for the top 150 and get a nice 5* featured.

This is more rewards for the players, a good thing. It sounds like all the people complaining that we need more rewards / more 5* shards wanted them all to be from monthly calendars by doing nothing but logging in. To those worried that they won't progress as fast because they can't make the top 150, then realize that if the top 150 consists of whales / hardcore grinders, they were going to pass you anyway. Be glad it is only 150 and not 1000 because if it was 1000 then you'd almost feel like you had to get the feature reward or you would fall behind.

I guess you are trying to put a positive spin on things. Like @Mixalis said we are end game people. Even though I have 40 5* and 111 4* champs I know that I don’t even have a chance at top 150. Let alone someone 300-550k pi rating. @GroundedWisdom

You have a point, but most us here complaining are end game players. It's ridiculous that we can't compete against top spenders. We're no longer beginners.

I get the argument. I'm not trying to stop anyone from expressing their views. The point I'm making is we're all new because it's a new Arena. Which means it will take some time to grow, the same way we had to adjust to Vet. Grinding is not about one-shot Ranking. It's about doing our best and using the Resources we earn, in combination with other Resources, to Grind better the next time.

You "end-game players" lost your edge against spenders ever since grandmaster crystals were introduced.

I get what you're saying. It's just that the bar has been raised. In a game that is always changing and growing, there's no such thing as being on top by default. Eventually we will have to be challenged to grow further.

We want more battlechips I think I speak for a lot of people when I say only 2k bc for every milestones is not a lot a specialy when reaching 12 millions. It should be incrimented at the top of the milestones

What pisses me off most about the terrible rank rewards is that they'll keep people from even trying, which will just drive up the scores for top 1-10%. At the moment, there is no incentive for anyone not going for top ~20% to even get to the 1M rank score. Cut-offs are going to be a freaking gongshow.
