AW Multiple duplicate defenders

The alliance I am currently facing has 6 Hyperions... 5 Magiks, 5 Mordos.
6 is a little over kill... is it possible to institute a “penalty”, get negative points for posting the same character so many times? You get extra points for diversity, you should get negative points for multiple copies of 1 character in 1 BG.
Maybe have a limit of 3 max of 1 champ per BG... cause it’s really boring to see 6 hypes, 5 Magiks, 4 mordos all in one BG. At that point it’s just sandbagging, and annoyingly repetitive

And there is a penalty system in place if you think about it...that is what defender diversity is supposed to help with. Assuming both alliances cleared 100% of every map then your alliance would win on diversity. The only drawback would be if they get more defender kills and that evens out their lack of diversity. Either way keep practicing against those champs.
Do you want kabam just to give you the win no matter what? Alliances are free to place whoever and how many of each they want. They sacrfiace diversity points in doing so. I bet their strategy is aimed at limiting attack bonus by placing champs that will get tons of kills. Its part of a strategy. Because you dont like it, means its probably working. Maybe get better a beating these champs or stop playing AW all together.
Then what are you complaining about? If it's boring or easy, then take the easy win. Be happy you won't have to use or spend money on revives and potions. The opponents strategy didn't work, great for you. Not many alliances will do this sort of thing all the time.

It’s clear you don’t understand the mechanics of AW scoring. Please get with your officers and leader and study the scoring system and how the other team forgoes diversity points when bringing many duplicates.
So really, you want to just increase the weight applied to diversity to thus penalize non-diverse battle groups? I'd be fine with that, as I really do like anything that promotes using the whole spectrum of champs rather than just the few Gods.
1 NC - Full diversity
2 NC - 1 less Diversity
3 NC - 2 less Diversity
4 NC - 3 less Diversity PLUS a penalty.
5 NC - 4 less Diversity PLUS a bigger penalty.
I personally don't agree, but I think this clears up OP a little.
