Server Maintenance: Missed Daily Reward

Hi Admins.
I tried to login several hours back, but couldn't, due to a bug that caused problems to players worldwide. I even posted on the forums about it, along with hundreds of other players.
Since I couldn't log in, I missed out on my daily rewards, setting me back in the calendar. Can you please make sure I get the rewards that I missed? I had no idea the contest would be down, and then you had the emergency maintenance to solve the issue, which went way past my bedtime.
You can check my activity log if you want, as proof. Please reply ASAP.

You will get a bunch of replies shortly telling you it's your fault and there are 24hrs to log in, others will add to your thread because the same thing happened to them and some bitter crusty old guy (which is why I'm here) will let you know that there is little to no chance of you getting your calendar rewards, expired stash items or anything else related to it.
Half my alliance were locked out for weeks when an update went bad, couldn't even get a mod to reply let alone an answer that might be halfway satisfactory.
Wow. I mean, I get that the mods are busy, but not replying to threads at all is unbelievable. If they really don't compensate players who miss rewards due to server-side issues, that's not going to sell.
Admins. If you're reading this, don't ignore it. Firstly, I get it. I know stuff about IT, so I know it must be challenging for you to ensure low rates of server failures. But, I'm also a gamer. I know that if this happened in any other game, I would've been compensated. So far you guys haven't given me any reason to complain, and I haven't even gotten any negative reply from you. Also, I know you're not going to risk losing thousands of players but not letting them have their rewards which they missed because of server unavailability. I don't know if you're going to listen to me or not, but I understand both sides of things, and want both sides to be treated fairly.
First off, the admins here aren't game support so calling the admins out still won't help. 2nd of all, you have 24 hrs to claim rewards. 3rd there isn't a "bug" keeping you from logging in. If there was, the forums would be full of posts as they always are. You missed the cut off. Plain and simple. Might as well move on. No one on the forums can help you.
1. The admins are an intermediary between the players and the developers. They are the people we have to contact first.
2. The game should be accessible during the whole 24-hour duration, which it wasn't.
3. The servers were unavailable. If this is an unknown thing, we do call it a bug in IT terms.
Also, there were hundreds of people who couldn't access the game at the same time as me, and they continued to post so on my thread. The admins had even announced emergency maintenance due to such a high magnitude of posts. So, I didn't miss the cutoff, and you're being unnecessarily assumptive.
I missed it only because of server unavailability
