AI reaction speed

I haven't seen any forum about this surprisingly, but I have had issues with with the AI blocking an L1 right after a 5 hit combo. This has happened to me with Gamora and Wolverine. Whenever I go to use an L1, the AI blocks it, leaving me open to a 5 hit combo. Please Fix it Kabam

    And why would you ever use sp1 with wolverine
