I feel like Kabam woulds stand to make a better profit by offering it cheaper and thus enabling more people to buy it.
It doesn't matter if your product is $500 if nobody buys it. If it was, say, $200 and that enables at least 3 more customers to afford it, then you've made more money that you would have for the outrageous price. Not to mention that this is DIGITAL goods.

This is an absolute joke. Just told my alliance this might be the push I need to walk away from this game for good.

I don't care who you are, a mobile game character should not ever be worth the equivalent of $600. That's just wrong.

I am not angry about it. I am kinda meh when it comes to OG Vision as I can only think of a couple scenerios over the last 3 years where I wished I had him. My reaction is more along the lines of "that is crazy".

This is pretty sickening. How about instead of connecting it to an Odin (real money), Have it as a permanent offer? 3100 units for a four star then you unlock the five star for 15 K? Something you can choose to grind and save units for. Still an aggravating offer but not so sickening

Also, the more I think about this - they're a little more in touch than we might think. They had to know that in releasing this offer they would get some sales and a whole lot of backlash. Gotta be why they dropped this grenade on us on a Friday - by the time Monday comes around they'll be expecting all the smoke to blow over and they can go about their business.

My question above notwithstanding, here's the worst thing about it. Kabam had already set the precedent for selling OG Vision for Units. The last two times you had to spend 1000 units to get the 3* version, then 3000 units to get the 4* version. In other words, you could save up the units without spending money. So people have been saving units in order to acquire him the next time he's offered......only now you are forced to spend money if you want him. 4 alliance mates of mine saved up 4000+ units just waiting for this offer....only to get screwed.

The offer is a joke. 5 Odin Purchases, 15000 units, just a bad joke. They’re 3 weeks late for April Fool’s. You’ll know an rube when you see 5* Vision in their roster.

If i saw any "Brag Post" on Reddit for the 5* Vision I'm gonna tell them thanks for keeping the game going for F2P players like myself but at the same time it was stupid and you could have bought a PS4 instead.
