War season - Confusing

I am really confused now . First , I joined my alliance and participated in 5 wars during season 1 but did not get any rewards . Then Season 2 started I guess , a week ago ....and our alliance was in Gold 3 . Now today ( 12 may 2018 ) All of a sudden , Season 2 got expired which was supposed to run for 55 days . Any one please tell whats happening exactly with war Season ?

    You have to still be in the alliance when war season ended. If you left before you don't get rewards. And you have to complete 5 wars before the cut off to get war rewards.

    As for the reset idk about it. They haven't said anything.

    I can see the leaderboard for season 2. That their message disappeared. Was probably just a bug
