**WINTER OF WOE - BONUS OBJECTIVE POINT**
As previously announced, the team will be distributing an additional point toward milestones to anyone who completed the Absorbing Man fight in the first step of the Winter of Woe.
This point will be distributed at a later time as it requires the team to pull and analyze data.
The timeline has not been set, but work has started.

There is currently an issue where some Alliances are are unable to find a match in Alliance Wars, or are receiving Byes without getting the benefits of the Win. We will be adjusting the Season Points of the Alliances that are affected within the coming weeks, and will be working to compensate them for their missed Per War rewards as well.
Additionally, we are working to address an issue where new Members of an Alliance are unable to place Defenders for the next War after joining. We are working to address this, but it will require a future update.

When a moderator represents the game team and the company by stating something definitive, customers should reasonably be able to rely upon it.
When an effect or attribute in game is left untouched for a long period of time, customers should reasonably be able to rely upon it.
It's all funny until it is your ox being gored. I see some of the same posters who mocked the change to AA's abilities outraged now by alleged Blade, BSSM, Magik and Drax changes.
Here's a simple suggestion to the game team: if you want game rebalancing, be my guest and get on with it. ToS say you can do it with impunity.
Tinker with Blade's Danger Sense, Magik's power lock, Drax's double-hit, AA's neurotoxin, IWIM's auto parry/block mechanic, Quake's auto evade, MODOK's auto block, Hypo's power gain, Medusa's Living Strands, Stark's poise charges...and whatever else. Have at it, do it all, especially if it is for the "benefit of the game" and regardless of whether it is to the detriment of some of the gamers. Let all the players who have complained about all the OP champs have their day and rebalance away.
But be upfront about it, whatever you do. Issue gracious restitution and move on with it. What happened with suicides and 12.0 should have been teachable moments.

This is also very handy against IMIW and Medusa, only you should punish with a heavy instead of a 5-hit combo.
As these are very common defenders, I'd suggest practicing this method until it's second nature. If you find yourself getting backed into a wall, don't be bashful about hammering the enemy's block to push him back. Mordo has a low block proficiency, so this is also a good way to score some extra damage.
And your other half brain should realize that Drax was unique with his 6-hits combo and his double first hit. The Astral evade intercept was completely logic in game mechanics.
Combo mechanics shouldn't ignore or bypass abilities. The interaction between them was clearly a bug, and confirmed as one since the very beginning

@Mr_Otter? When did you get put in jail?
We've just confirmed with the team that we have made no changes to Drax. While Drax, and some other Champions like X-23 and Elektra, are sometimes able to bypass Mordo's Astral Evade, this was never an intended effect, and was completely reliant on the frame rate and performance of your device. We have mentioned this in the past.
A change in the frame rate during a fight could mean that on your first attempt, you successfully bypassed the Astral Evade, while the second time you try, you could not.
With the release of version 18.1, we made a number of performance updates to the game, and this could result in a boost to your frame rate. There are intended workarounds to Astral Evade, like Fatigue and Concussion, as described in Mordo's abilities.
I have seen them suggest Drax to fight Mordo with...but have never seen them say it was "working as intended".
Saw @Kabam Miike refer to this as a bug in the past:
Then what about cosmic spidey's passive evade buff?
You mean this?
And this?
It was an unintended consequence/bug. However it became a well-known strength of Drax's, and it's not like he was over-burdened with cool abilities. I grinded to awaken my Drax in the 4-star arena partly for this ability.
There will be more details in the old forums, but is there really any point searching then to find somewhere that a moderator said it was fine, now? They've clearly changed their minds and 'fixed' it.
Let's at least try and see it as a buff to Mordo rather than a nerf to Drax. Mordo's had several counters introduced recently. You'll just need to take him out with Captain America instead.
I'm not begging for RDTs, but really am frustrated by the utter lack of transparency by Kabam. Given that examples of the fixes in prior updates include such details as "Fixed an issue where Punisher’s Special 3 Attack Description indicated an increase of Damage instead of Attack", you'd think that fixing this 'Bug' would be worthy of a mention.
Just because a character's mechanics gives a benefit not originally foreseen by Kabam doesn't mean it is broken and needs to be changed. I don't think anyone upset by this is acting out of line.
X-23 and Electra get past astral evade as well. Does that mean I should expect them to be changed out of the blue some day? Rulk is super effective against Mystics. Is he going to be changed. How are we supposed to know what benefits/advantages to certain characters are intended and which Kabam may, some day, decide to take away?
Once again, like we mentioned above, there was no change made to Drax, or anybody else that has been known to bypass Astral Evade. Those unintended abilities were always reliant on device performance, and would not always work. With improvements made to device performance, some players are seeing this failing more than before.
