Is Wolverine worthy of a four star generic awakening gem for my particular account?

I played this game on another account 1.5 years ago when Wolverine was amazing duped at clearing AW, AQ, and Chapter 4. Now, however, there are many OP champs and there are sentinels and other bleed immune champs that sort of make Wolverine weak offensively at times.

I just rolled Wolverine last night and have a generic awakening gem since completing act IV last week. Still need to finish 5.1 and 5.2 and RTL. Originally I planned to keep this gem until I rolled Dr. Voodoo...

    I like Wolverine, but you already have better champs and would be better off saving it since it is a generic gem.

    Yes, he is worthy
    wolverine got me through so much in this game. Cleared the initial paths of act 5. is still viable in AQ. He doesn't hit very hard but he won't be dead.

    also it's a 4*, don't sweat too much about it. additionally it's a 4* not released as a 5*. So awaken him, max him out. He's still God tier.

    Depends on where you are in the game... I said yes, because he's still a great champ for general questing. Does well in Monthly EQ

    His aq utility is gone, unless you're early into the game, save it

    No way, you already have regen champs. SW, Blade, x23.

    Wolvie lost a lot of his value for AQ. I wish I could rank him down. Just use X23 whenever you would use Wolvie. Save the generic for someone like Voodoo
