Will alliances be reviewed before rewards are granted?

With season 2 coming to a close, I'm just wondering if Kabam will be reviewing any possible cheating before sending out rewards? I know Kabam has said they are actively investigating all claims. But my question is will the investigations be completed before season 2 is over?

What if an alliance receives their season 2 rewards, and then it is later discovered that they had been exploiting AW during season 2? Will the rewards be removed? What if this decision changes the standings of the leader boards?

I understand that Kabam is working on it, and doing their best. I am just concerned that certain cheating alliances may still be able to cash in season 2 rewards and then get penalized after. At that point it wont really matter.

I think Kabam owes it to the community, and all the alliances that played fair, spent hours of time an invested money on boosts. To make sure that they thoroughly finish ALL investigations before releasing the final rewards for Season 2.

Rewards will come out right away. Last season they said that they would ensure “there was no funny business” in season 1 - moderators words, not mine.... then everyone received their rewards a few hours after. All the cheating alliances claimed their master rewards and they were never taken back.

Be careful what you wish for. The investigation into cheating could take days or weeks to complete. Do you really want to wait until August if it comes to that?

And the results would likely only affect a very small percentage of allies.

Even if they threw out the entirety of Master 1 & 2 tiers, that would only change the outcome for ~50 allies down the track. Should they withhold rewards for THOUSANDS of alliances if only 50 change?

There's a lot of us waiting to retire/change alliances that are just waiting for the rewards to be released

That's a legitimate concern. We're trying to time the swap of some new players in for some older ones retiring/being booted, but can't do this until after Season rewards drop. With a new AW starting up Wednesday, I almost feel that rewards have to come out before then so we can make roster changes. At the very least before AQ starts on Friday.

The ranks haven’t been updated in 3 hours. They are doing some kind of review. Who knows what if anything they are looking at

It’s possible they’re just waiting for the final wars to be completed. The cutoff for matches is 7pm PST so there’s still a potential hour and a half of wars going on.

It was updating every 20 mins or so up until last war...would be nice if someone from kabam gave an update as to why there is a delay. But you know transparency isn’t quite their thing.

You guys need to look at how Kabam has operated in the past. If you think Kabam will delay rewards to check for piloting and collusion you are going to be very disappointed. Rewards will drop soon after season ends. Then people will start changing alliances.

Since Kabam stated season 3 starts on July 11th, they gave themselves no time to address the collusion and cheating that has gone on in season 2.

Once rewards drop, that's it. Even if they take rewards back at a later date the alliances that missed out won't be given their correct rewards later on.

They have had ample time to investigate to be honest.
