The title says all pretty much,

What happens if an alliance decides to rest on AW for a while? Will they lose rating and tier placement without playing?

The rating will not change if you do not run a war. No reason to tag every Mod in existence.

You will keep your rating but not your place on the leader bord as the other alliances will continue to get points while your score stays the same

leaderboard meaning platinum or gold or silver. could be tier too if enough alliances pass you in rating.

That was not my question, of course you cannot maintain leader board on a bracket without playing.

"Leader board? You mean tiers ?" that was your question

You don't loose rating or points in between season no one is scoring season points during the off season so it's perfectly fine to take a week off you loose absolutely nothing

If you take the next two weeks off of wars you're ratings will not change unless you change your alliance rating by removing or adding members and your war rating won't change unless kabam docks you as a penalty for something.

The official season doesn't start until July what the 11th so anything you do now from then doesn't count to the season , though not sure why you would want to take a whole week off of war.
