Can Kabam explain the policy for bans?

So there have been many bans to top end players after the season ended and not during the season. The ban is typically a week during the off season. How is this a deterrent to buy loaded units and commit a fraudulent behavior with most of the community is playing the game straight up?

I’m just guessing that the investigation was done after the season. But it would be more of a deterrent if they were banned during the season and they can’t collect rewards.

And don’t tell me post is against forum rules. I’m asking a question and not calling anyone out.

Well, they don't want to really hurt their main sources of income, do they?
  • It’s not their main source of income. It’s getting an Odin for half the cost being paid through possible criminal activity. I know for sure Kabam is against this. That isn’t the concern. The question is that all these people got great rewards and their punishment is a week off during the off season.

So again people cheat an get a slap on the wrist an keep season rewards. 7 day ban in the off season for is not a punishment

People get permanent bans for much worse. After the Core fiasco, these guys knew what they were doing. It was clear you could get a ton of units for the low cost of a 7day ban. WORTH IT!

Should there be a sticky post about loading cheap fraud units? We have 3 for other topics, but maybe nothing specifically about this topic?
