When you get ready to purchase something, there will be payment options. Under those options, where it says add google play or something like that, there's a scratch off on back of the card....enter that number and you should be good to go.
Do you have a google play account? If so, you have to add the gift card to it then when you purchase stuff in the game you can login to the account and it will pull from what you've loaded.
