Node 30 help

I had cable on node 30 and in addition to his normal regen he was triggering the masochism regen without any buffs being inflicted on him. I parried him a few times on accident and masochism was working as it should but why is he triggering it on himself? Am I missing something?

    It doesn't say it needs to be on a well timed block.

    I'm honestly trying here too. I honestly didn't know it had to be from a block. Nowhere does it say that. I have one more thing to try.

    Okay I'm trying to read more. In Cap IW sig ability, it has to be a well timed block. in his synergies, it doesn't say that.
