New forums, new Character Wishlist thread

Just as a reminder, our rules:

Character requests are still a very frequent topic of conversation within our community, and with good reason - there are a ton of amazing Marvel characters in their universe.

The old Character wish list thread was ballooning a bit, and several characters requested in that thread have since been added to The Contest. We're starting up a new thread to house these discussions so that they can continue, but in a more up to date manner.

A few FAQ's:

1) Why haven't you added (X character) yet?!

A: there are so many characters we want to add, but simply haven't gotten to yet. A character's lack of presence in the Contest currently does not necessarily mean that we've overlooked them or that we don't already have them on our radar. Our teams have a finite amount of time in order to produce content, and we'd love to bang characters out quicker - but still need to maintain realistic developer cadences.

2) We need more female characters and more diversity.

A: Our own team is quite diverse itself, and we agree that representation is an important concern!

3) Why do you bother adding (X re-skinned character) when you've not even had a chance to add (x character not in The Contest)?

A: While some people are not a fan of character re-skins, MANY of our players are. The Marvel universe is one with a lengthy lore, and almost every beloved character has gone through some sort of costume change or shift at some point in their super-powered careers. These differences offer a good opportunity to re-introduce players to content they may not have managed to obtain the first time around, and allowing new players to pick up a certain champion while still keeping things a bit fresh. Our goal is to have a healthy balance between release types.

4) Can you confirm if a requested character is going to be released?

A: The short answer is no. We have specific timelines regarding when we can announce content, and that means that we can't pop in to say 'hey, that person is coming!'. For those wanting to keep on top of our latest announcements or teases, following our Twitter and Facebook accounts are your best shot. We also have an Instagram account that you should follow. This should go without saying, but please discuss the characters you'd like to see without insulting each other or trying to discredit someone's opinion. Friendly debate is welcome, but the emphasis here is 'friendly' ; )

idea:
Is almost useless in combat but negates the passive abilities of super-powered beings fighting his team. For example, if Leech is in a team composed of Blade and Ghost Rider, and Blade is fighting Sabretooth, Sabretooth will lose all of his passive abilities even if Leech isn't the one fighting.

Limitations:
1)cannot affect champions that derive their powers from technology (i.e. robots, iron man suits, certain weapons such as Corvus's Glaive, etc) and artifacts (i.e. Juggernaut is unaffected because he derives his powers from the Crimson Gem of Cyttorak)

2)Leech must be above 50% health for his ability to be active.

Signature: Targeting-Agent Zero focuses his aim at the opponent’s strengths to reduce armor or weakness to create an open wound. Any Bleed damage the opponent receives is duplicated because of the wound. Agent Zero switches targeting modes while blocking.
Passive: Using his mutant ability of kinetic absorption, Agent Zero converts physical damage from opponents into an x% chance to evade the next incoming attack [max 45% chance].
Medium Attacks: Agent Zero’s point blank shots have a 10% chance to cause bleed of x health.
Sp 1: Elimination-Agent Zero finds his target and attacks with a powerful volley of pistol fire. [25% to cause bleed, dealing x health as direct damage for y seconds.]
Sp 2: X Strike-Kinetic energy is released thanks to Zero’s mutant ability, as he strikes with incomparable prowess. [This attack is cannot be blocked.]

so im gonna be realistic i dont expect, onslaught, the beyonder, odin, the celestials, apocalypse and other characters who are pretty much gods because if kabam doesnt make those guys op the community is gonna go crazy. For instance sentry should be the most op character in this game. But anyways my characters are

I'd really like to see Warpath as an option to play as, he's a beast! do the character justice! Unlike days of futures past which did not show the characters true capabilities. Also could include his brother, thunderbird. They bring more diversity to the game.

I see Jessica jones is on the developer’s minds, and she might be in the game soon as all the defenders are in already. I wonder if you can add few characters from the Netflix series

1) Kilgrave
In the Netflix series Jessica Jones, Kilgrave has mind control. He is expert at hand to hand combat. The lower his health gets, the higher is attack rating. It would be nice if Kilgrave’s Special 3 attack would showcase his mind controlling powers.

2) Stick
Stick is from Daredevil, and he is mentor of Matt Murdock. Stick is expert at blades and can sense the slightest changes around him, such as heart beats, breathing rate and weapon moving.
Note: He is blind like Daredevil.
His weapon is a katana and he’s used to cutting off heads

3) Bushmaster
Bushmaster is from Luke Cage. Bushmaster takes a drug called nightshade to make him have similar powers to Luke Cage. His agility should be similar to Stark Spidey, he can hit hard and run fast and not feel much pain. He should have a special buff for the drugs he takes (Nightshade). If he loses too much health at once he takes some nightshade, regenerating 15% health and prowess buff for 5 seconds

4) Steel Serpent (Davos)
Steel Serpent is from Iron Fist. He has a red fist instead of a yellow fist from the iron fist series. He should have similar powers to Iron Fist. Not much is known so far

I’d like next month’s update to be a Netflix based update.

He could be mystic or skill with some kind of cool signature ability where he applies a small counter for each class he is against (excluding which ever class he gets classed down by.)

(KRAVEN THE HUNTER)

Bio-:
The son of a Russian aristocrat, Sergei found he had a great talent after finding employment in Africa. After meeting a witch doctor, Kraven took a herbal potion which enhanced his physical powers. He used his new found powers to further aid his big hunts. He soon befriended the Chameleon who suggested his biggest hunt of his life: Spider-Man!

Bio-:
The princess of Wakanda, Shuri is T'Chaka's youngest child and only daughter. From a very young age, Shuri coveted the Black Panther mantle. She attempts to challenge the then-Black Panther, her uncle S'yan, for the mantle, only to discover that he had already been defeated by her older half-brother T'Challa. During an attack on Wakanda by Klaw and a group of his mercenaries, she uses the Ebony Blade to defeat the Russian Radioactive Man, killing him in the process. Shell-shocked by her first kill, T'Challa promises to train her in hand-to-hand combat, enabling her to fight on her own terms should she ever need to take his place as leader of Wakanda.

.X% chance to inflict Concussion dealing X% of your Attack as direct damage over X seconds.

*Passive-
.Opponents passively suffer X% reduced Defensive Ability Accuracy for as long as they are under a Debuff effect.

.X% chance to Armor Up, reducing damage from attacks by X% for X seconds.

.Vibranium armour prevent her from losing more than X% of her current health per hit from Special Attacks.

*Special 1: Sonic Blasts- Shuri shoot blasts of Sonic energy towards her opponent by using her Vibranium gauntlet.

.X% chance to inflict Concussion dealing X% of your Attack as direct damage over X seconds.

*Special 2: Shock Nets- Shuri shoot Electric based nets towards her opponent from her armoury.

.X% chance to inflict Stun over X seconds.

*Special 3: Sonic Spears- Shuri use her default weapons of choice in armed combat situations and tear aparts his opponent.

.X% chance to inflict Concussion dealing X% of your Attack as direct damage over X seconds.

.X% chance to inflict Stun over X seconds.

*Signature Ability:
Djalia Enhancements- Shuri returned from her stay at the Djalia changed, having been imbued with supernatural powers from the teachings of a griot.

.Stone form- Stone form provides Shuri immunity to Bleed and Shock.

.Necromancy- When holding block while above one bar of power, Shuri summon deceased Wakandan warriors to aid her in fight, thus 'Heal Blocking' her opponent for X seconds for the cost of one bar of power.

.Animorphism- With the power of morphing herself into a flock of black birds or a single enormous one Shuri starts the fight with additional X Attack rating.

About Blackheart:
Centuries of murder in a locale named Christ's Crown, New York, draws the attention of a Hell-lord, Mephisto, who creates a "son", Blackheart, from the energy of the accumulated evil.

Class: Mystic

Abilities:

*Critical Hits:
Critical Hits lacerate opponents with a X% chance, inflicting Bleed damage for X% of your Attack Rating over X seconds.

*Heavy Attacks:
This attack Incinerates the enemy, dealing X% of your attack as Energy Damage over X seconds.

*Son of Mephisto(Passive):
When against Heroes Blackheart remove his opponents Perfect Block Chance and reduces Block Proficiency by X% by using his Telepathy.

*Special 1: Hell fire-
.Incinerates the opponent, dealing X Energy Damage per stack over X seconds.

.X% chance to Nullify all the beneficial status effect of the opponent.

*Special 2: Black energy-
.Blackheart has X% chance to steal an enemy beneficial effect from the opponent and harness it to trigger his power gain, recovering X% power over X seconds.

.This Attack is unblockable.

*Special 3: Darkforce dimension-
.This attack deals X% increased damage for each empty bar of power the opponent has at time of impact.

.X% chance to inflict Bleed, dealing X% of your Attack as direct damage over X seconds.

*Signature Ability: Soul Capturing- Unlike his father, Blackheart can capture a soul against the will of the person he is stealing it from.

.Opponent gains X% less power from strikes of Blackheart.
