Stark Enhanced Spiderman evade/dexterity

I've noticed my spiderman (stark enhanced) occasionally gets nailed by the enemy after I dodge a basic attack and there is nothing I can do about it. This happens against any champion regardless of ability accuracy reductions or aggressive animations. Normally, dodging an enemy attack results in a 'Dexterity' message being displayed on the left hand side of the screen indicating a successful dexterity, however sometimes I notice both 'Dexterity' and 'Evade' displayed after a single swipe back. I suspect this happens when a well timed dodge occurs at the same time as an auto-evade, but when this happens I am unable to preform additional actions including block, medium or light attacks, and additional swipes back.
I have only seen this issue with SE spiderman (mine is a 4 star rank 5). The rest of my champions work just fine. Please note I have been using him for quite a long time now for questing, but only within the last month or so have I noticed this problem. I have had to back out of a number of quests more times than I'd like to admit because this issue usually costs me my spiderman, especially with some of the fights in the uncollected monthly event being extremely fun and interactive (ehem domino).
