I think there should be a monthly card to increase featured crystals drop rates!
Bronze - 3% - $5.99
Silver - 5% - $9.99
Gold -10% $19.99
Or something like this. We all hate drop rates, now if we could pay to increase the chances I would probably buy more crystals.

It would generate more money for kabam so why not? Spenders spend to which keeps the game free for all the other players which just use resources. It's like funding welfare.

Let's say that the chance of getting a 4* is 1% and the chance of getting a feature 4* from a crystal is 0.5%. So an added 10% chance to get him increases the probability to 5%. Is this what you are proposing or would it become a 0.55% chance to get the feature 4*? And would the chance to get a 4* then also increase from 1% to 10%? Just asking. I find the idea intriguing tbh.
It would be a flat % addition, so let's say you had a 1% chance previously. Purchasing the Bronze you now have a flat 3%, Silver 5% and Gold 10% added to the current rate. It's basically an odds booster.
FREE PLAYERS NEED NOT RESPOND TO THIS THREAD SHOOTING THE IDEA DOWN. It's obviously to generate revenue to keep the free players free and give the paying players an advantage they deserve. Again this only works on the featured crystals not any other crystal.
True its still a risk. And thats kabams model so it works. Id buy crystals again with increased chances.
Regardless of whether you have to spend for this or not, it's just a bad idea. Everyone who spends, which is a large portion of the player base, would have all the featured champs. They'd buy this, buy some units, and purchase crystals until they get who they want. The game wouldn't be as fun if half of the players got every new champ.
How is it not fun? That makes no sense. Because you can't afford to spend you want no one else to be able to? Spenders should get an advantage over non spenders. If you don't contribute monies to the game you can't comment on stuff as you don't pay for the service to stay open. It wouldn't be fun for me a freeloader to see people that keep this game running from having a better chance at champs lol.
Spenders should definitely have a better chance, they keep the game in business its only fair.
I have spent on this game. It's none of your business how much, but I'm not gonna spend anymore unless they get things fixed, so I'm not a freeloader. Even so, free players aren't doing anything bad by not spending. If Kabam WANTED spending to be mandatory, the game would cost money. It doesn't, so obviously they're fine with free players.
Spenders should get an advantage, I totally agree. That's not where our opinions split. Our opinions split at this idea as a whole. This is a very rough percentage, but it's what I've found to be true: About half of the users spend. About half of the spenders spend often. People who spend often would jump on this, then buy the crystals until they got the featured champ. Around 25% of players would do that. I'm not saying that 25% of the people are those guys who spend thousands of dollars, but even guys who drop ten bucks a month would probably end up with everyone. Then you'd have to add in everyone who got the featured from crystals and arena. It wouldn't be fun if half of us had the same champ. If Kabam was fine with half of us having the same champ, they'd put 5* Star Lord in the Unit Store for $500. Tons of people would have him. Just because Kabam wouldn't earn money doesn't mean it's smart.
They've done that a couple times if I'm remembering correctly.
