Announcing Event Quest: X-Men: Class Omega

NOTE: Unlike most monthly events that start at 10am PST, this one will not start until 11am PST. This one hour delay is to ensure that we can offload the Gwenpool Goes to the Movies event before we start the Class Omega Event, and prevent any unintended issues.

With Mutants scattered all over The Battlerealm, some of them are not aware of how powerful they are and they are in need of a leader. This is a job for an Omega Class Mutant, and who better than Emma Frost to take these Mutants under her wing. She has established an Academy in The Contest and all Mutants are invited. However Beast and Bishop are not so easily convinced that Emma’s intentions are pure. With The Summoner’s help they want to investigate this new “Academy”.

Two new Mutant Champions have entered The Battlerealm!

Emma Frost bursts into The Contest! With the ability to switch between her telepath and diamond form, Emma will be able to defend her fellow Mutants against the toughest of opponents. In diamond form Emma is a formidable defender, she gains armor and has resistance to most damage over time effects. In telepath form Emma switches to a damage dealer, controlling the minds of her enemies and inflicting as much pain as possible.

Omega Red is a relentless assassin and will stop at nothing to take down his targets. He releases death spores that slowly poison his targets when they are near him. Omega Red uses carbonadium tentacles to inflict huge damage, when injured he can also utilize them to steal life from his opponents. Omega Red will make a fine addition to your arsenal especially when you are up against poison and bleed Champions.

Q&A
How long does this quest run for?
This quest will be starting on the 5th of September at ~11:00AM PST and will run until October 3rd at 10:00AM PST. Those attempting Legends runs will have until September 19th to 100% explore both Heroic and Master difficulties.

I can’t see some of the rewards under “View Rewards” Are they missing?
No, they’re there! Currently we can’t fit all the rewards in the preview. In Particular, the title on Heroic difficulty cannot be previewed but you will still receive it upon meeting the required criteria.

How do I get the Legends title associated with Master Difficulty?
The Legends title and rewards will be given to the 100 players who 100% explore HEROIC AND MASTER difficulties in this Event Quest the fastest. Just like recent Event Quests, this quest will take advantage of the Time Attack system we’ve put in place for our Monthly Quest Legends Program. This means that the players that completely explore Heroic and Master difficulty the fastest within the first 2 weeks of the event being live will win the title. In addition to this distinction, these first 100 will receive the following rewards:

You need it. It will not be given out, so you have to get it from Heroic.

It's not listed in the rewards for Heroic. Let the mod tell me if that's an omission or a change. Thanks

The Master Key will still be required to enter the Master Difficulty, and will need to either be acquired from the Exploration of Heroic Difficulty, or purchased from the Item Store.

Please, can we start on the Master without having to fully explore Heroic? Completion proves that one *could* explore it. Surely it's not a good thing to make stronger players grind, and the rest of us would like the chance to test our mettle throughout the month.

Wow. Would y'all just stop complaining already? It's a bloody game, not the U.S. government. Enjoy it, or leave. In general, forums are the place for the targeted community to help others in said community. Go look at the NASIOC or J-Body forums. You may see some people joking about something being a POS or a spot where someone complains that a certain part isn't easy to change or find and maybe someone gives them some advice, but you won't see every other post be someone cussing out GM or Fuji Motors/Toyota (depending on the gen of Subbie). Please, quit making the MCOC forums such an eyesore to read while trying to find something. If you're going to give Kabam ****, PM the mods, keep it to your Alliance/MCOC friends on Line, or label a conversation as "WARNING: Nothing but stoning Kabam in here". Let the general forums be somewhere that new players can come to find some needed information, or more experienced players can get advice from veterans and Kabam staff on how to complete something that's giving them a difficult time, the way forums are supposed to be. Just because only actually offensive words will get your comment deleted, just because the internet is somewhere to anonymously rant and rave with little to no consequence, just because you decided to spend money on the game or feel that your luck is different than that of the rest of us because you haven't bought in, doesn't make this the place to throw dung at Kabam and make the rest of us suffer through your hatred. If you're that dissatisfied with this game and regret killing time playing it, or using it as your escape from the world after a bad day? I like that they made the title unique for the first Uncollected difficulty only. With so much additional content added since the first Uncollected EQ earlier this year, most people have rosters much stronger than when the first Uncollected EQ happened, meaning it was much tougher to beat it for most players. Those that did got a "badge of honor."

With stronger rosters, the current EQ won't be as hard as that first one. The exclusivity can motivate you. If you see a title you want, you've got to put in the effort right then and there. Otherwise it's gone for good. I'm all for new titles (despite hardly ever looking at them), but I think once a title has been run, it should be retired, never to return.

It seems very odd the content will release at 11 PST. Understand you are delaying it an hour but that would still be 11 PDT since right now Pacific time zone in North America is Pacific Daylight Time not Pacific Standard Time.

Hey there, apologies for the typo; this month's Heroic Quest will still only reward 4,000x Premium Crystal Shards but will still award 10x Tier 4 Class Catalyst Fragment Crystals. We'll get that updated on the original post.
