Map 6 nodes were changed without any notice...

in Bugs and Known Issues
New season introduced new map 6 nodes, those nodes never mentioned by Kabam. Here is a list of couple nodes:
29 - now its mordo
72 - stark instead of iron man
68 - iceman instead of BW
51 - red hulk instead of collusos

There are probably more node, but we haven’t reached them yet.

We have guys who brought champs for the nodes and they had to face different ones, like very buffed iceman

    I’ve read it. Replacing champion with buffed iceman without saying anything about it, it’s pretty aggressive move. They should have at least let us know which champs they bringing like they did in map 5

    it would have been easy to spectate before entering knowing that there would be different champs.

    also they never said who would be the replacement champs on map 5. they showed 1 example only. and said that these champs would be chosen at random for each aq week.

    they told us there would be changes.
    if you spectated before entering you would have seen.

    atleast you know now those champs will always be the same.
    peeps running map5 will not know from week to week who the champs are and will need to spectate to find out at the start of each AQ.

    My only issue is that they changed to some unavoidable damage champs in map 6 without telling it, this is something that should have been said

    Where do you get that they "changed without notice"? It was stated clearly in the announcement that parts of map 6 were changing so thats on you for not knowing. Also, its not "unavoidable" if you bring the right champs as well. The champs are hidden so of course they arent going to tell you what they are and they dont say which champs are in Map 5 since they are random sets per node.
    If you don't pay attention to announcements you cant blame the company. If you can't handle some champs because they are above your level step back down to map 5.

    I agree there. We are running map 6 today for the first time and there are a few champs that we were not prepared for. but it's nothing that cannot be handled especially on day 1.
    i fought that iceman and he caught me off guard, i lost a champ. so what...?

    at least now we know who the champs are and going forward we can bring the right counters on later, higher prestige days.

    You all missing the main point, it’s called transparency, something that we’re not having in this community. There is a way to present new things.

    I’m sure that there are low rated alliances who facing map 6 for the first time ever and lose because they weren’t prepared.
    Imaging that you would get korg or Emma Frost on nodes where you expect a different champ and class.

    Our alliance facing this without an issues, but the bigger picture is the lack of transparency

    @arni2 You need to let it go. All the information was in the announcement. When map 6 was released, they didn't give any hidden champ info then either. They never have, never will. You got beat and your ego is hurt. They did a great job rolling this update out. Not their fault you can't prepare for changes. They were as transparent as they needed to be. Get over it and move on.

    the changes they have made here to AQ is the best change they have mad in along time.....
    The info was all laid out.

    the one mistake they have made with this is listed in another thread....
    where map5 enemies are not the same fro all alliances....
    but wat you are talking about is a non-issue. they told you there would be changes. thats the info and they gave it.
