OG DD and IM Infinity War

None of IMIW’s attacks are projectile attacks?

Why doesn’t my level 99 OG DD evade ANY of IM’s L1 projectiles?

I’m sure there’s a real reason, but the new champs have such complex builds I don’t have enough time to deep dive on info like that.

Did you evade the blade arm first or got hit by it?

Interesting. I did not know this until I read your post and decided to look it up. I dislike how much stuff is becoming unblockable and unevadeable.

    IMIW's special-1 is deeply unpleasant.

Giving any champ an unblockable SP1 that they don't at least have to work for (like Cyke/cable) seems unsporting.

At least with the unblockable end to his Heavy attack, you can see it coming fairly easily.

Yep, as another player mentioned this would be happening because the projectile portions of his Special 1 have the same properties as Repulsor attacks, including that they can't be evaded.

This may sound more wise-ass than it is, but how did un-blockable become un-EVADE-able? The projectiles in his L1 are energy balls. A repulsor attack is scientifically a true beam of force acting on an object, so changing the appearance of his L1 from all of the other IM variants that have true beam style attacks is what gives this character trait it's biggest question mark IMHO.

I remember my post after I first squared off against IMIW and a good summary is this: You should not need a PhD in game theory to decipher a character's abilities.

Logic and reason have no place here
