The best solution I’ve heard for matchmaking yet!
So we have 8 hours to find a match, split that 8 hours in two leaving two 4 hour time periods to match, so that gives early teams a chance to match and late teams to match, all those teams from early time in one pool, all those teams from late time zones in the other pool, after 24 hour placement period kabam uses an algorithm to match all those teams fairly using +/- to the closest team to them.
This will do two main things, will stop top ally collusion and then avoiding eachother
And also will give us fair matches based off plus minus so teams aren’t wanting to drop in offseason to avoid tough matches
Most importantly will give everyone a true best team and top 10 and fair rankings
