OG Spidey Is Still Evading Venom's Basic Attacks (Buffet - Epic EQ)

I'm on the second to last mission on Epic EQ, and OG Spidey is still evading and the only buff on him is Buffet. I also dueled another OG Spidey, and his evade didn't trigger, so I'm not sure what's going on.

    Buffet consumes Venom's klyntar mutation buff which is what keeps spiderman from evading

    now we know kabam is always gonna put og spidey on buffet so venom cant work
