Only original champs being pulled from the 5 star basic crystal

So after saving for a month and a half to two months I finally had enough shards to open my five star basic crystal on October 5th 2018. I pulled a five star hulkbuster and two days later my brother pulled a five Star winter soldier, after he pulled winter soldier I remembered seeing a video where lagacy said that people have only been pulling original champs from the five star basic. I have been playing since 2014 but I’m not sure if hulkbuster and winter soldier are original champs I just know they are very old. Please correct me if I’m wrong but if they are original champs and this is a bug I would very much want my shards back when the bug is fixed so I can possibly get a champ that’s not an original champ. Thank you.

    Yeah I thought it was bad luck at first and then I saw that lagacy video and decided to post on the forums to see what people thought about it. Thanks for the comment.

    By the way, who's lagacy? No one. Accept the fate and move on buddy. And remember that such instances are going to repeat too many times in future. Have less expectations, that will help you deal with it better.

    Nah I just opened a basic and pulled a gambit dupe so it's not just og champs. I'd rather have another winter soldier dupe lol

    The 3 5* I’ve pulled this month are moon knight, falcon, and hulk buster the other day

    Not here or in my alliance, I've pulled all kinds of different 5* on my main some really good ( gp, mordo, lc, gullitine, hulk) and some really bad ones, on my alt I've also pulled some really good ones ( killmonger, star lord, x23, lc, hulk) and some really bad ones.

    People in my alliance have pulled all kinds of good ones like killmonger, modok, void, sabretooth, domino, aa, Stark spidy, magik, sabretooth, Dr Voodoo, medsua and much much more so I don't know what you are talking about
