How/When/Where to get my first rank 5 4 star

I’m rated about 100,000 overall, and I have 1 5 star at 2/35 (Cap IW) and 6 4 stars at 4/40. I’m nowhere close to having enough T4 CC for a R5. I 100% the heroic event quest every month and I just completed chapter 1 in Act 4. I’m also only level 43, is this normal for a player like me?

    yep its normal, takes a while to get those first ones, but as you grow they will come. unless you spend money on deals it takes a lot of time to get the first 3 class cats you need.

    Are you in an alliance that does AQ? I joined one recently that focuses on AQ, and it has given me a ton of T4 resources.

    I’m in an alliance that runs aq daily. I don’t know much about the maps but we are 8.5M rated overall. Our tag is WMPK

    You need to be in an alliance that does AQ map 4 or higher. Our alliance is split into 3 battle groups for map 5, 3 and 2. We do about 40-45m a week in total.

    Push to complete 100% master chapter 1 and possibly 2, gradually you'll get those tier 4 class shards.

    Selling an overflow of tier 3 class cats gives you some tier 4 shards

    .......... complete act 4 :) I'm level 50 on my alternative account and just finished 4.2 100% still no r5 4*s I have 5 5*s none r3 duped 4*blade saber imiw cap modok kill monger emma frost Morningstar hyperion
    my alliance concentrates on wars not aq tho

    It will take forever and with a 100k rating an alliance running map 4 won't take him! so why throw out such a useless suggestion? It takes a hella long time to build t4cc bud even with all the shards kabam has introduced into the game. The amount of shards that drop from the various sources are insignifigant and you gotta grind for as many of those crystals and shards as you can...patience is the real answer and if you don't have any you probably will never rank a 4 to 5 or a 5 past rank 2.

    With six classes and 36000 shards at 240 a pop (at random) you have no control of what pops and it takes a million of them to create 1 class t4c.

    I agree act 4 will level you up quick and you have full cat rewards also id concentrate on master mode eq you have a great 5* champ tho @mr banks !

    I used to be in the same boat as you, but once you join an alliance that does map 4/5 you will start raking in t4cc(except for the class you need lol). The best course of action for you right now would be to work a bit more on act 4, and then start the uncollected push. You definitely have the champs to do act 4, and by the time you’re done you’ll probably have your first batch of t4cc ready for a rankup.

    Here is the truth kid! This game is a commitment! There is no short cuts between rank 1 and 60 and no short cuts to cats except $. Spend or grind at infinitum! That is the reality here...if you are not prepared to commit YEARS to this game then walk now.

    My account is almost 3 years old but I’ve only been playing consistently for about a year and a half. Sometimes I’ll buy a $5 or $10 if it’s good but for the rest it’s all the free to play grind. Check my profile “Mr. Banks”

    I got my first r5 4* on my 14weeks of playing from scratch. With the new system on AQ, its much easier to get awesome rewards in an Ally without much stress. Its because ok the old system before Kingpin AQ, ally couldnt sepate BGs into different maps but right now we could seperate different maps among BGs. Its much easier for weaker and new members to get higher rewards out of AQ. My account is currently 17weeks old and I’m at 209k ratings

    On my free to play account I completed act 4 with only 2 rank 3 four stars under the three-week mark. If you have been consistently playing for a year and a half you should be further ahead in the game, I would suggest looking at Seatin's free to play account series on youtube. In about a year he got 2 rank 4 five star champions, 2 6 six star characters and 6 champions at the 4* rank 5 level. You should be able to see how he reached certain milestones like act 4 completion, becoming uncollected, master mode completion, first rank 4 four star, etc.
