Question about grinding arenas

Hi, so happy to be a part of this growing community, I've been playing this game since May and I'm always trying to up my game proficiency on any new challenge you design for our enjoyment, recently I was able to brake trough one of my personal limitations (getting all the milestones on 3-4 star arenas and reach 1.5 million points so I can get me a 4 star champ and beleve me I took a lot of grinding with my current champion set up) however, to my surprise, that was not enough to get the champion I was grinding for (Ironman infinity war on the recent desperate measures arena ) because even though I got 1,510,xxxx I ended up on the 26% - 45% tier so I would like to know how to proceed next time to try my best on getting stronger champs.

Just to make things transparent, I am not asking for any special treatment or anything like it, further more if there is estimate info on how to achieve maximum results available to all, and you can point me to the right direction I would really appreciate it, after all I just want to be more effective on arenas so I won't go to the same experience, that is all.

    a big thing people tend to forget is 10% means its entirely up to the community how much these champs go for. Since you are building your roster you're best bet will be aiming for the champs everyone has and nobody cares about. these older champs just went for fairly low in their basic arena.

    electro 1.9M
    doc ock just over 2M
    agent venom 1.9M
    falcon 1.7M
    crossbones 2M

    some of the much better champs like medusa and the new iron man still go for around 4M though since even a 4* version is worth using.

    The current 4* basic is hulkbuster and he will very likely go for under 1.8M because everyone has him and nobody wants him. antman should be another low scoring champ starting on december 20th with yellowjacket starting his basic arena on jan 3rd.

    Thank you for the info and swift answer but as best as I can understand, trendy/high tier champs of same tier may be as high as 4mil just to increase my chances.....
