The arena and crystal were offered even though they didn't make it and that came at the same time as the anniversary event. Regardless, 2 separate events.

So maybe do a little research before you start trying to tell them what to do.

Yes. It came last year. It doesn't come every year, and they were quite upfront about that at the time. They said it may come around again in the future, but that wasn't a tentative statement.
