Iceman ice armor Vs Mephisto Maze problem

When fighting Mephisto in the Maze with Iceman, for the first 15 seconds, Iceman is under soul imprisonment, and therefore cannot form his ice armor. But once that 15 seconds expires shouldn't Iceman be able to activate his ice armor like normal? So far when I fight Mephisto Iceman's armor does not form at all for the duration of the entire fight. Even after the soul imprisonment debuff has expired. It's like the very presence of the soul imprisonment at the start of the fight suppresses his ability to form his ice armor beyond the 15 second timer. If this is how it is supposed to work someone please let me know, but if this is an unintentional bug then is anyone else aware of it and is anything being done to fix it?

    It’s always been that way since Mephisto was introduced. Only way to get icemans armor is with his S3

    it was always like this in mephisto fight
    you should use one sp3 to activate it again
