You Created a Monster!!!!! I just wish It was a 4, or 5 Star - RE: Unbalanced Hero collection.

First thing I would like to say is "WOW", "I LOVE THIS GAME!!!!!

I have just discovered MCOC through the transformers game and even though I'm a little late to the discovery, I must sing it's praises!

"I am 100% Obsessed, borderline seeking a mental health specialist for withdrawals when I'm unable to play!"

That being said I have been playing MCOC every single day for over a month. This is very out of the norm for me as historically I may just download a little time passer "gem" type games to pass the time if I am idle.

After hundreds of hours playing over the last month I am for some reason unable to be awarded any 4 or 5 star characters. I am a level 28 Summoner and the leader of an alliance but I can't figure out why so many of my Alliance members that are lower level than me have been awarded 4 and 5 star Heroes. I can't help but feel disappointment and frustration about the odds being seemingly stacked against me.

I am aware I may not have all the skills or tactics that a more experienced player would have, but I feel my chances of being awarded a 4 or 5 star hero in normal gameplay is somehow significantly diminished and it's affecting me on a human level causing me to feel disappointed and negativity in the game.

Statistically speaking there will be some cases of "Outliers" in the Summoner accounts Interquartile range that are unable to attain a 4,or 5 star Hero as I am describing.

Can you please review my account and determine if it is indeed just a fantastic string of bad luck, Or if there is actually something wrong with the statistics on my account that looks as though the deck is stacked against me in some way. I personally work in a highly technical field and understand that an anomaly like what I am describing can and will happen given enough time, there is no right way for something to go wrong.

Please take this request seriously, I understand that you most likely don't have metrics setup that will show you the data I am proposing that is haunting me, but please just take a look and see if it makes sense, you see accounts all day long I presume and should be able to make a snap judgement about my account's statistics to see if you can identify the reason I am consistently let down.

I would very much hope this to be an issue that can be quickly resolved and corrected than not to experience the fun and excitement that you had intended with such an outstanding game!

Are there any other Summoners out there that are experiencing anything similar to my situation with an obscene lacking of 4 and 5 star champions? I do understand that these are "Rare" awards and they won't reveal every day but I overheard someone mention on a video that they might get a rare find maybe once a week.

Well what say you, good people? If that is what the general populous is experiencing, please comment the frequency you will get a 4 or 5 star gem. If that is in fact the "Unofficial" scorecard, I am at least 4 weeks overdue.

Chances are those in your alliance are grinding arena a lot which is the fastest way to get 4*s, and 5* shards.
If you do it right and start from day 1 you can have many 4*s and maybe a 5* or 2 by the end of your first 2 months.

I got my first 4 star in my first PHC and then not another one in IDK how long, but it was a while. I never had the time to grind through arenas so my 4 star count is still very low.

I've been playing for about 4-5 months and I have only 1 5* but 34 4*. You gotta grind your ass off in the arena, I've only gotten 2 4*s from premium crystals and only a small amount more from featured crystals. Grind, grind grind! And if you don't win the champ, save your shards thats how it's done. If you rely on crystals your roster will go nowhere.

They start to come faster when you get to higher levels. Do you run War with 3 battlegroups?

A lot of beginner accounts get 4* from phc. Others could have been in alliances that got 4* shards from war. And some accounts used hacks to get champs

My suggestions are to do the arena, you can give a different 4 star every week. Or try to get 4 and 5 star crystal shards. One of the easy ways I try to get 4 stars is gather enough premium hero crystals up to the point where you have 10 crystals and then let the game open them and you will have a chance to get a 4 star. I gotten a couple through this process. It takes patience, gathering all the shards.

Grind arena, first 30 days is beginner's bracket and 31-60 days is intermediate. You need a lot less points to get 4 star champions from Arena during the first 2 months. This is my roster after 70 days of play by grinding all arenas, both basic and featured.

My firsr ever 4* come from a full 4* crystal.

And that time i already max level 16 3*

Worse is all me 31 3* that time before i get a 4* none are science champs

But that all history now
Now i have 66 4* and majority are science.

Patience.
If you dont have go grind arena. Get units up your mastery and then buy refills and clear quest asap

THANK YOU ALL for your feedback, I think I was getting caught up in all the Youtube banter that maybe is more fiction than fact. I do enjoy the grind, but I think I just needed to readjust my expectations. The game actually does a pretty good job of dispensing reward for effort put in. I know if I throw away 3-4 hours of my life to the grind I will reap pretty exceptional rewards, I was just thinking that 4* char's would come from the "PREMIUM HERO" crystal more often than they do.

Given my mental reset I pose another question to you all then,

Do you see any benefit to spending the (150 UNITS) on a limited time offer crystal vs. a standard (100 UNIT PHC)?

Obviously there is a (slim to none) chance for a special limited time char, but based on my adjusted perception it seems to make more sense to play it safe and get 3 PCH* instead of a slim chance + and only get 2 PCH* for the same amount of units. RIGHT?

If you're set on buying crystals, buy the features. Dont ever buy PHCs, though the chance of getting 4* from feature is extremely low as well. At your level, you should focus your units on improving your masteries. Champs will come as you progress in the game, many players have gone a year or more without a 4* from PHC though. Wars are the best way to increase your roster and Alliance Quest is the best way to improve those you already have.
