Masacre's ability reduction doesn't work at all.

Since I just received a 6 stars Masacre, I decided to study him and with my joy I discovered that he has 2 amazing abilities that SHOULD reduce the opponent defensive.

The first one reduce the defensive ability of the opponent by 50% for as long as they are under a debuff effect. (when blocked...what should that mean?)

The second one, reduce the defensive ability by 50% when landing a special attack 1 that apply a disoriented debuff.
So supposely you should have a 100% ability reduction when the opponent has a debuff and has been disoriented (that is also a debuff so that should be enough to get 100% ability reduction).

You may say, yes but the first ability reduction it works only when the enemy is blocking. Wrong, it doesn't work. I tested Masacre's ability reduction against the Thing from the event at Master difficultly. The Thing had some incinerate and disoriented debuff applied and nevertheless, when my opponent (The Thing) was blocking my attacks, he was continuing gaining rock stacks. Fighting with an awakened Gwenpool against the Thing instead, after 50 hits (or something like that), the Thing was not getting anymore rock stacks when blocking or receiving a hit. I want to remember that gwenpool's awakened ability reduces the opponent defensive ability based on our combo meter.

So if I am missing something about how the Masacre ability reduction works, please let me know.
I also tested masacre against wolverine and he continued to generate regeneration, I tested it against Cable and when placing a bleeding debuff on him, he applied me a degeneration debuff as normally he does, so no ability reduction in both the cases. Same thing against Morningstar. I will do further testes but at now, to me it just seems like the Masacre ability reduction's ability is not working at all under any circumstances. Isn't that a bug?

It reduces the accuracy by 50% and not the potency. For instance, if there was a 70% chance for an armor up to proc on attack, it drops to 35% if they’re blocking and have a debuff on them, and if it procs it will be as strong as if they didn’t have a debuff on them.

Hey there, I wanted to drop in and help clarify a few things. First, the "When Blocked" portion of his abilities means that opponents will have 50% reduced Defensive Ability Accuracy while Masacre is striking their Block, if they also have a Debuff active on them at the time. So if they don't have a Debuff on them or Masacre isn't currently hitting their block, this reduction won't happen. This would mean that Masacre wouldn't have 100% chance to prevent abilities like Cable's Bleed from occurring, since he would need to strike Cable while he wasn't Blocking in order for those abilities to activate (he would still have a lower chance of preventing it if they have the Disoriented Debuff though).

As for the fight against Thing, would you happen to have any screenshots or video showing his Rock Stacks increasing from blocked hits while he has a Disoriented buff on him? Also, would you be able to tell us what other Champions were on your team at the time?

Just saw a video that I made and watching it more carefully, Thing was not blocking, was getting hit. I tested it now for confirmation and yes, when Thing is blocking, he doesn't additional Rock Stacks. So in order to have a 100% ability reduction triggering , the opponent must have a disoriented buff and must be blocking. Not such an useful ability reduction of Masacre as I thought

It would be good for pushing Magik over her power threshold while shes blocking. It would reduce the chance for her to get a limbo significantly. There are a lot of niche uses for an ability like this. Getting him as a 6* is great since you dont have to invest t2a to get a r4 equivalent of him.

Also, auto-block cant parry with disorient

    If this reduce 50% then reduce another 50% that's a 75% since 50% of 50% is a 25%

It can't parry anyway because if you hit a blocking opponent it doesn't trigger autoblock... Is already blocking. And this happen also without disoriented

No is the 50% of the original ability to be reduced not the actual defensive ability to be reduced. So is 50% + 50%, not 50% + 50%*50%. The only right explanation is the one of Kabam Zibiit.
