Need 3.1 Sentinel Tips

HendrossHendross Member Posts: 965 ★★★
I've managed to pay my way through the first pass ~100 units...but don't want to proceed at this rate clearing the rest of UC.

So, I have;
r5 4* Hyperion
r5 4* Starkey
r3 5* Quake

No Corvus, Medusa, Void, Angela, Nebula for me, but others may be interested in feedback.

What are my best options and fight strategies? Anyone else worth mentioning/trying?

Please refrain from git good or similar hyperbole... I mean a couple are OK, but let's not lose sight of the issue at hand.

Use sparks sp2, the electroshock de uff makes a lot damage, at least that's how I beat him every time (I've 100% explored already)

Any armor break champ in your roster will help big time but you already have Hyperion spam special 1 and starky special 2 so should be good to go

I’ve been using CAIW. If you have him he’s good. If he has maybe lower than 50 charges go for the L2, if higher save for the L3.

If I'm using Hyperion, when do you fire SP1 to avoid it being blocked? @ intercept or heavy dodge?

Is there any strategy to intercepting Sentinel? I watched Dave's video but that's on the Vanilla Sentinel; class specific, stunable.

Is there a duel target, I could practice with?

    Your sentinel duel target!

With Hype, play cautiously and let that power gain help out. Also, you can find some openings to land heavies.

Hype, spam sp1. Launch it when he dashes in to intercept with the special. That's what i did with a 4* Hype

Second pass complete for 80 units, 1 on Sentinel, 1 on Havok ... Hyperion did about 50% and SES finished him .. wondering if ~500 units is a good investment to finish. Or with the learning curve, my marginal cost continues to decrease.

It depends on if you can handle mr sinister quest well enough. If you can 100% the chapter then yes. If not then no.

That’s a hefty sum just to pass a route.
Maybe try Masters first (if you hadn’t) and get comfortable dealing with the opponent before attmpting UC.

But if you insist on completing UC, I’ll strongly encourage you to try the paths first without any of your champs KOing early. If you keep getting KOs before you reach mini, just quit and restart. It’s way cheaper burning energy than spending on revives.

Re Sentinel: there’s a vid on YT where a summoner uses Quake vs both Senti and Havok. You may want to check in out

Do you have blade+gr to go with stark?

What went wrong with hyperion? Did you get hit or did he refuse to launch specials?

Spam Hyperion's SP1. He will go down like a rubber duck.
I used him for my first try, when I didn't pay attention to who I have to fight, and I didn't have Medusa in the squad.

It's really unfortunate that you don't have Corvus. As others have suggested, sparky would be your next best option against sentinel with his sp2 shocks.
