Voodoo broken, or is Angela?

My buddy sent me a video of him fighting Angela, he threw a sp1 on every time he could, on even combo, never got one spirit venom, never converted any of her buffs, and had 20 loas stacked by the end of the fight. Is this working as intended?l7mo41sdbhwt.png

    LOA is actually a buff on the opponent with no effects, not a debuff, as per voodoo spotlight.

    Wrong. Loas are buffs.
    And again, angela's sig ability. Resistance to nullify effects.
    Voodoo's special 1. Nullify buffs, and procs a poison for every buff nullified that way

    When dueling her or everywhere else, her chance to reduce nullify is tied to her sig level and how many active buffs on her at that moment, so I do believe u can stack all kinds of SV on her if she is low sig or if she got 1-2 buffs on her.

    Your video or monthly EQ experience however, based on the amount of active buffs including loa (again, NOT debuffs) on her it makes sense SV will not trigger because nothing got nullify. Will-o-wisp is correct. Just Google their spotlights for more info. They are not broken.

    Angela and Voodoo are two of my top champs. I know them well.

    First off, Loas are buffs. Says so right in Voodoo's description, "A Loa is a buff with no effects". Then under his SP1 description it says, "50% chance to Envenom each of the opponent's buffs, Nullifying it, and applying a poison..."

    Secondly, Angela's Signature ability says that "each Buff active on her to reduce all Nullify abilities chance to trigger against her by xx.xx% [20% or higher depending on signature ability]". Her buffs include: Fury, Armor, Regen, and Precision, and when against Voodoo also includes Loas.

    So, if Angela is awakened, each Loa makes her more and more resistant to Voodoo's SP1.

    There are only 2 ways to inflict SV on Angela:
    1) If she is unawakened
    2) if she has 3 or fewer buffs on her, in which case it's only a chance to convert.

    Several months ago, Angela's Sig ability was bugged and wasn't working at all. Which meant for the longest time, Voodoo could apply SV all day long like he was against Groot or Howard. But this bug was fixed in September 2018 with Update 20.1
