Red Hulk Bypasses Indestructible?

I don't know if I'm unaware of a certain ability of red hulk's- but I've just played Killmonger against him and threw my Sp2 which initiated his 3 indestructible buffs, then I got hit straight after and took damage and died. I'm so confused as to why he took damage.

Was your ability accuracy being reduced in any way?

As far as I'm aware there was no ability accuracy reduction, Brute Force, Kinetic Instigator, +300% attack and health and the 3rd special attack are the only nodes present- unless Red Hulk himself has an ability accuracy reduction that I don't know about.

Red Hulk does direct damage via his heat charges whenever he attacks. You'll see the regular number for the actual attack, then a separate residual number for the direct damage via heat charges.

It's my understanding that Indestructible charges will negate damage from attacks, but not direct damage. Bleed is another type of direct damage and it's also able to damage KM when he's got indestructible charges.

    From his champion spotlight:

Vibranium Armor activates 3 Indestructible Charges. A charge is spent to ignore all the incoming damage from an attack.

So it's stopping the damage from the attack, but not the residual direct damage from Red Hulk's ability set.

I believe the direct damage with his heat charges are based on the damage dealt on the same hit.
So if he deals 0 damage, it will deal 0 direct damage as well.

    You may be right.

I've also got to amend what I wrote. I said the heat charges cause direct damage, but in reading the Red Hulk description, they actually inflict physical damage.

I'm stumped. I'm not sure about this one.
