    It's an understandable mistake, most people don't know all of AV's abilities.

    Short answer is as said above, AV reduces evade chance, so it brings DD evade down lower than 100%.

    Keep in mind that pausing the game sometimes also tells you what is active. For example, pausing the screen while playing Bishop tells me he can gain prowess and has persistent power + any buffs and debuffs that are on him.
