Permanent safeguard on uncollected thanos?

No matter what I do on uncollected thanos, I'm not able to do more than 2786 damage to him. My SL wasn't doing any more damage than this in phase 1 one. This also includes an l3 from gulk in phase 3 with 6 armor breaks. I've watched YouTube videos and no one else seems to be having this interaction.

    Using wifi but same interaction on data as well.

    If you read his abilities carefully, you can see that during his second phase he has a damage cap that prevents him from taking more than a set amount of damage per hit (in this case the cap is 2786)

    Yes he’s in phase three but his phase two “stone” is active still

    You're right! This is the bug then. Both stones can't be active

    Thanks! Still having trouble last phase but that's just me needing practice
